THE EXTENT TO WHICH is a performance piece breaking down the boundaries between dance and installation art; this work creates a powerful sensory experience for the audience. Kocik has designed an elegant choreographic enclosure that uses cutting edge technology-- conceived in collaboration with Michelle Nagai and lighting designer, Krissy Wright--to interactively respond to the movement of the performers. This part of the Prosodic Body creates a self-reflective and autonomous organism in which each element reflects, effects and is affected by all other elements.


All interactions between people, place and sound generate a Prosodic language generated by the dancers’ movements.
